Michelle Brann
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, Michelle Brann conducts laboratory experiments to understand abundances and formation pathways of complex organic molecules in interstellar ice analogs during planet formation. Previously she was a NRC postdoc at National Institutes of Standards and Technology and measured Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors. Michelle earned her PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Chicago and her B. A. in chemistry with honors from Wellesley College. Between undergraduate and graduate school, she spent one year at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
